Robertsdale Rotary Club donated $1,500.00 to the Landstuhl Fisher House in Germany as our International Project. Carl Davis, President 2016-17 was visiting his daughter and made the presentation to Vivian Wilson Manager of Landstuhl Fisher Houses.
Karen Moore presented a Power Point Presentation on services Baldwin EMC provides to the community. They are very community oriented by having blood drives, offering free shred days for their customers, Power of Pink where all of the linemen wear pink hardhats to bring awareness to Breast Cancer. They have also partnered up with WKRG TV5 with the Toy Drive. All toys collected by Baldwin EMC stay in Baldwin County.
Robertsdale Rotary Club President Carl Davis presents a check to Phyllis Beam with Catholic Social Services for the organization’s Project REACH school supply program a total donation of $520. To date this year, Beam said, the Project REACH program has served 176 families, a total of 360 school students, throughout Baldwin County.
Baldwin EMC’s Kevin Wilson, pictured here with co-worker Brad Taylor, spoke to the Robertsdale Rotary Club Aug. 23 the company’s Live Wire on Wheels program. The traveling education program focuses on the dangers of dealing with live power lines following an accident. Chad Thomas is helping to spearhead the program, which welcomes participation from local schools, first responders and businesses.
